Checking in
Check-in desks open 2.5 hours prior to departure
Our check-in desks open 2.5 hours prior to departure. This gives you one and 3 quarters of an hour to check in and drop off your baggage. It is important to carefully read the check-in procedures of your airline, as these may differ from one airline to another. This information is also available from the travel agency that booked your trip.
Checking in on time is important. Once the check-in desks are closed, you cannot get a boarding pass anymore. You need a boarding pass to be able to take the flight.
Checking in online
Don’t like to queue for check-in? Then you can do this from the comfort of your sofa at home via the website of your airline. Additionally, using your boarding pass (printed or on your smartphone), you can check in your baggage at one of the check-in pillars in the terminal. Please make sure you check the validity of your travel documents (passport or national identity card) for your destination.
Baggage drop-off pillars
When entering the terminal, you will see three blue pillars. Here you can drop off your baggage if you have checked in online. When you scan your boarding pass, you will directly receive a baggage tag. You attach this tag to your hold baggage and then place the item on the baggage belt. In this way, you will be able to quickly go and enjoy your coffee at the airport.
Do you have any questions? We are happy to help you at our service desk.
When you arrive at the airport, please go to the check-in desk of the airline with which you fly. The information signs above the check-in desks will indicate where to queue. If you have checked in online and carry hand baggage only, you can go directly to departures.
Don’t forget your ticket and valid ID at check-in!
When you check in, we will ask for your ticket and valid identification. Depending on your destination, this is a passport or national identity card.
Baggage
At the check-in desk, your suitcase is labelled with a baggage tag to make sure that it arrives at the right destination. This is also the case when you need to change planes. In the unlikely event that your suitcase has been lost, we can trace it anywhere in the world through your baggage tag number.
After your suitcase has been scanned for prohibited items, it is loaded into the hold of the aircraft. We also check if your hand baggage is not too heavy or too large. Additionally, no liquids are allowed in your hand baggage.
