Step by step plan application airport badge for Maastricht Aachen Airport.
Beware of: only choose this step by step plan if you want to apply for a new airport badge or If you want to renew your airport badge. If you also need a driving qualification airside you have to choose option 3 in the previous menu.
If you want to apply for a new airport badge please complete all below steps in chronological order. If you want to renew your airport badge start at step number 2.
Only proceed to the next step when the current step has been completed.
Step 1. Application / registration company (employer)
Make sure your employer is already registered at Maastricht Aachen Airport. If not, ask your employer to complete the form Application Company The completed form has to be signed and returned to the Badge Office via mail passenbureau@maa.nl
Only proceed to step 2. after the company registration has been approved by the Badge Office.
Is your employer already registered at Maastricht Aachen Airport? You can than proceed to step 2.
Step 2 Application of the declaration of no objection (VGB)
Apply for a declaration of no objection.
Beware of: both the employer and the employee need to complete a part of the request form for a declaration of no objection.

When both parts are completed digitally and signed they can be sent to the Badge Office by mail or post.

You will receive your declaration of no objection after 6 to 8 weeks by post. Only proceed to step 3 after you receive your declaration of no objection.
Step 3. Request airport badge
Your employer has to complete the form ‘Application Airport Badge digitally and sign the form. Please bring the completed and signed form with you to you appointment at the Badge Office.
Step 4. Make an appointment with the Badge Office
To obtain your airport badge you need to pass the Safety and Security test. You will receive the study material after you make the appointment.
